Capturing the moment.

As the autumn rain and darkness has set in, I am reminiscing and thinking about this summer. The following is one of my favourite photographs. Not because it is arty or beautiful but because it captured a lot of things that were great one particular day.

It was beginning of October and we were about to be surprised by a late summer heat wave.  Just a few days before I found this beautiful red and blue stripey baby suit and as it was only £2.50 I bought it hoping I'd get a chance for Bella to wear it. BAM ... four days of extraordinary heat arrived in the UK and Bella lived in her cute suit!

So Bella and I ventured out to enjoy the much appreciated heat and went for a walk through our local neighbourhood. Instead of her baby bag I took my new epiphanie Lola camera  bag with me (I will review this another time, it's a beautiful camera bag!) and the polaroid landcamera with a Fuji colour film. Not easy to snap a wiggly baby with a slow, slightly inaccurate camera but hey, it was all about the fun. And fun we girls had on this lovely afternoon!
