Getty Images selection on Flickr

I love the little things that give you a boost. "Good shooting" Flickr said to me. "You've had 9 photos selected by the Getty Images team!" Actually it's 17 photos, I just haven't dealt with the last email Flickr sent me yet.

Now some people are strictly against giving their photos to stock agencies but I am not one of them. Of course I would never give them any of the photos that I consider my best images. Or images that I don't have model release forms for and will never seek them either. I only give them images that I never plan to use for a book or any other publication as you give up your publication rights when submitting images to Getty. Still I have managed to make a good amount of money with the images I have given them so far and hope to continue this.

I do feel proud though to have caught their eye and soon have a total of round 35 images with Getty. To see my images for sale with Getty click here.
